Five things to do on Elm Row this autumn
Elm Row is short, but it's packed. If you're grabbing a coffee and have an hour to spare, here's how we'd spend it.
- The Saturday marketFruit, cheese and the best samosas in the city, every Saturday from 9 till 2.
- The bench by the pondThird bench on the left as you enter the park. Morning sun, ducks, total quiet.
- Second-hand books at No. 20Hardbacks for a pound in the bucket outside. We've found some gems.
- The community gardenOpen to everyone on Sundays. Bring gloves, leave with herbs.
- Back for a bunObviously. They come out fresh again at 2pm.
Best enjoyed slowly, with something warm in hand.
